Vic: Three more men charged over alleged terror plot

Three more men have been charged over an alleged terrorist plot for a suicide attack
on an Australian army base.

They're expected to appear in a Melbourne court today .. following raids by 400 police
and security forces on 19 properties in Melbourne's north .. the inner city and southwestern
Victoria early yesterday.

One man .. 25-year-old NAYEF EL SAYED of Glenroy .. appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates'
Court yesterday .. charged with conspiring to do acts in preparation for an armed attack
on the army base at Holsworthy in Sydney's west.

SAYED didn't apply for bail .. and was remanded in custody to reappear in court in late October.

Three other men have now been charged with the same crime .. SANEY EDOW AWEYZ, ABDIRAHMAN
AHMED and YACQUB KHAYRE .. after appearing in court on yesterday.

A fifth man already in custody is expected to be charged later today .. and to appear in court.
